Decision No. 412/2003

IN THE MATTER of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989

AND

IN THE MATTER of an application by CAROL FAY WESTLEY pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager’s Certificate

BEFORE THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY

Chairman: District Court Judge E W Unwin

DECISION

This is an application by Carol Fay Westley pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager’s Certificate.

The application initially attracted an adverse report from the Police concerning the applicant’s September 2000 conviction for driving with an excess alcohol level. The Police have subsequently withdrawn their opposition. We will now deal with the matter on the papers.

We are now satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard as set out in s.121(1) of the Act and we grant the application.

DATED at WELLINGTON this 12th day of June 2003

B M Holmes
Deputy Secretary
