Decision No. 53/2003
IN THE MATTER of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989
AND
IN THE MATTER of an application by NICHOLAS JAMES GUILFORD CARSWELL pursuant to
s.118 of the Act for a General Manager’s Certificate
BEFORE THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY
Chairman: District Court Judge E W
Unwin
Member: Mr J C Crookston
FINAL DECISION
In decision number PH 669/2002 dated 26 November 2002 we adjourned the application for a General Manager’s Certificate made by Nicholas James Guilford Carswell for six months to enable the Police to report further on the suitability of the applicant.
On 29 January 2003 our Secretary received a supplementary report from the Auckland Police advising that Mr Carswell had contacted them for an interview and that there was no longer any opposition to the application.
We are now satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard as set out in s. 121(1) of the Act and we grant the application.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 14th day of February 2003.
