RESERVED DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] This is an application by Vale Allen Land pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager’s Certificate. The criteria to which we must have regard is set out in s.121 of the Act.
[2] The application is opposed by the Inspector on the grounds that the applicant has failed to supply details of relevant training qualifications and information regarding his previous experience in the liquor industry. The Inspector has also been unable to interview the applicant to determine his suitability to be the holder of a General Manager’s Certificate.
[3] Mr Lamb did not appear to support his application. By his absence we can only conclude that he no longer wishes to pursue his application.
[4] In all the circumstances, Mr Lamb’s application for a General Manager’s Certificate is refused.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 20th day of October 2004
