ORAL DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] This is an application by Campbell Fergus Howe for a General Manager’s Certificate.
[2] Mr Howe’s application was received by the Agency on 14 April 2004. At the time of his application Mr Howe was employed at a local “Night N Day” convenience store. When contact was made with the store, the Inspector was advised that Mr Howe had transferred to Dunedin. Contact was made with the “Night N Day” store in Dunedin without success. It seems that Mr Howe was no longer employed in any licensed premises, and indeed there has been no contact with Mr Howe since the last letter was written to him in October 2004.
[3] In those circumstances it seems clear that Mr Howe no longer has any interest in pursuing his application. He has not appeared before the Authority and the application is accordingly refused.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 19th day of May 2006
