Ms D M Robertson –
Tararua District Licensing Agency Inspector – in opposition
ORAL DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] Before the Authority is an application by Carolyn Jean Meads for a General Manager's Certificate.
[2] The original application for the certificate was made on 5 August 2004 and the matter is now historical in nature. The only means to handle such a matter correctly is to bring the matter before the Authority for a decision to be made.
[3] The District Licensing Agency opposes the application primarily on a number of matters, one being that no interview has taken place. The applicant is no longer in the industry and the applicant does not hold a Licence Controller Qualification. We note that there has been no appearance by the applicant before the Authority.
[4] As a consequence the application is refused.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 1st day of November 2007
