ORAL DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] This is an application by Christina Anne Murphy for the renewal of her General Manager's Certificate.
[2] Ms Murphy filed her application with the Dunedin District Licensing Agency on 11 January 2007. The application was not accompanied by the Licence Controller Qualification as is required by the Act.
[3] Several attempts were made to contact Ms Murphy but without success. The law provides that no application for renewal may be granted either by the Agency or by the Authority absent this qualification.
[4] Ms Murphy did not appear to support her application. The only reasonable inference that we can draw is that she is no longer interested in pursuing her application, which as a matter of law, is now refused.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 5th day of December 2007
