ORAL DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] Before the Authority is an application by Angela Tanaya Tiopira for the renewal of her General Manager’s Certificate. Ms. Tiopira was granted her certificate on 30 March 2004.
[2] The certificate fell due for renewal on 29 March 2007. The application indicated that Ms Tiopira was working at the “Te Puka Tavern.” Ms Tiopira was requested to supply the Licence Controller Qualification but has failed to do so.
[3] There was an incident referred to by the Police in December 2004, but this did not result in a court appearance.
[4] Ms Tiopira has failed to appear in support of her application. In the absence of the Licence Controller Qualification the application, as a matter of law, must be refused.
