ORAL DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] This is an application by Cara Bridget Bayly for a General Manager's Certificate.
[2] The application was filed with the Rodney District Licensing Agency on 3 January 2007. At that time Ms Bayly was employed at licensed premises known as "Herons Flight". Ms Bayly is the holder of the Licence Controller Qualification.
[3] The Inspector made enquiries to find that Ms Bayly had not only left her employment with "Herons Flight", but was currently overseas.
[4] There has been no appearance in support of the application. It is clear from the file that Ms Bayly has lost interest in pursuing her application which is now refused.
[5] There is of course nothing to stop Ms Bayly reapplying for a General Manager's Certificate once she returns to live in New Zealand.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 11th day of January 2008
