ORAL DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] Before the Authority is an application by Sheila Alice Mary Reuben for a General Manager’s Certificate. Before the certificate could be issued Ms Reuben’s employment was terminated and her employer withdrew his support. Ms Reuben was written to asking if she wished to continue with the application. No reply was received.
[2] No further information was received from the applicant and the application was set down for a public hearing. Ms Reuben did not appear at the hearing and no explanation was received for her non-appearance. The strong inference is that she is no longer interested in pursuing his application. For the above reasons and in the absence of any indication that Ms Reuben has managerial work available in the industry, the application is refused.
