ORAL DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] This is an application by Neil Wilcox for a General Manager's Certificate. The application was filed with the Agency on 24 April 2007. The application was accompanied by the Licence Controller Qualification. Mr Wilcox was written to to attend an interview with the Inspector, the letter was addressed to his nominated place of work. The Inspector was advised that Mr Wilcox was out of the country and had left his place of employment. It was not known how long he would be away for. Further enquiries were made and there was no clear indication of when Mr Wilcox was to return.
[2] Accordingly the matter was set down for hearing. Not unnaturally the applicant failed to appear. In those circumstances we draw the only reasonable inference that he is no longer interested in pursuing his application which is accordingly declined.
