ORAL DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] We have before us applications by Amanda Victoria Busby and Angela Close for General Manager's Certificates.
[2] When the applications were filed there was no copy of the Licence Controller Qualification. Letters were written to each applicant pointing the omission out but no response was received. Further letters were written requesting each applicant to attend for an interview but once again there was no response.
[3] The applications were set down for a public hearing. There was no appearance by either applicant and it is clear that they are no longer interested in pursuing their applications. In those circumstances, each applicant has failed to comply with the criteria set out in s.121 of the Act, and each application is now refused.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 27TH day of February 2008
