_DECISION

We have before us an application by Kath Barker for a General Manager’s

Certificate.

The Police opposed the application on the basis of a dishonesty conviction incurred by Ms Barker in 2000. The District Licensing Agency forwarded the papers to the Authority for determination at a public hearing. The matter was scheduled to be heard on 8 May 2008.

In the interim the Police have reconsidered their position and opposition has been withdrawn.

We are satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard in s.121(1) of the

Act and we grant the application. The certificate may issue immediately.
