DECISION

We have before us an application by Sergeant M C Stevenson of Hastings Police dated 27 August 2010 for suspension of a General Manager’s Certificate held by John Smith.

The ground for the application is that the manager has failed to conduct the licensed premises in a proper manner in that, while duty manager in licensed premises he allowed a person or persons to become intoxicated in the premises.

The respondent does not dispute the ground for the application and he has agreed to suspension of his manager’s certificate. Accordingly, we make the following order by consent:

General Manager’s Certificate number 029/GM/129/2008, issued to John Smith, is suspended for 31 days from 1 November 2010.

DATED at WELLINGTON this 17th day of September 2010
