DECISION

We have before us an application by Chang Sun for renewal of a General Manager’s Certificate.

The Police opposed the application on the basis of a conviction incurred by Mr Sun following a liquor related traffic offence in March 2009. The application was referred to the Authority for determination at a public hearing.

The Police have now advised our Secretary that they no longer wish to pursue their opposition to renewal. Accordingly we deal with the matter on the papers.

We are satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard in s.126 of the Act and we grant the application. A notice of renewal is attached to this decision.
