DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] There are two applications before the Authority for General Managers' Certificates by Allen Lapa and Nicholas David Miller. Both applications were filed with the Christchurch District Licensing Agency and were opposed by the Police and District Licensing Agency Inspector due to convictions incurred by the applicants.
[2] The matters were accordingly set down for a public hearing. There was however, no appearance by either applicant and in the circumstances we are not satisfied as to the criteria set out in s.121 of the Act. We also draw the reasonable conclusion that they are no longer interested in pursuing their applications.
[3] Accordingly both applications are declined.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 19TH day of November 2010
