AND
IN THE MATTER of an application pursuant to s.135 of the Act for suspension of General Manager’s Certificate number 068/GM/41/02 issued to AARON WINDER
BETWEEN KERRY RUTH LANCASTER
(Police Officer of Christchurch)
Applicant
AND AARON WINDER
Respondent
BEFORE THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY
Chairman: District Court Judge J D Hole
Member: Dr J Horn
DECISION
We have before us an application by Constable K R Lancaster of Christchurch Police dated 11 November 2010, for suspension of a General Manager’s Certificate held by Aaron Winder.
The ground for the application is that the conduct of the manager has been such as to show that he is not a suitable person to hold the certificate. In particular on 8 August 2010 Mr Winder was in an intoxicated state and was involved in an incident. Mr Winder was subsequently charged with offensive behaviour however, the charge was withdrawn after Mr Winder received diversion.
The respondent does not dispute the grounds of application and has agreed to the suspension of his certificate. Accordingly, we make the following order by consent:
General Manager’s Certificate number 068/GM/41/02, issued to Aaron Winder, is suspended for 14 days from Monday 3 January 2011.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 6TH day of December 2010
