ORAL DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] Before the Authority are three applications for General Managers’ Certificates. All were filed with the Auckland District Licensing Agency in 2008 or 2009.
[2] None of the applicants have provided evidence of having obtained the required Licence Controller Qualification. Pursuant to s.117A of the Act we are precluded from issuing a General Manager’s Certificate if the prescribed qualification is not held.
[3] There has been no appearance by any of the applicants at a public hearing. Accordingly, we make the reasonable assumption that they are no longer interested in pursuing their applications, which in any event, as a matter of law must be declined.
