Decision No.328/2010
IN THE MATTER of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989
AND
IN THE MATTER of an application by JAMIE
MICHAEL CRAWFORD-FLETT
pursuant to
s.123 of the Act for
renewal of a General Manager’s
Certificate
BEFORE THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY
Chairman: District Court Judge J D Hole
Member: Dr
J Horn
DECISION
We have before us an application by Jamie Michael Crawford-Flett for renewal of his General Manager’s Certificate. The application was lodged with the Napier District Licensing Agency in October 2009.
The Police opposed the application as Mr Crawford-Flett had been convicted of driving with excess breath alcohol as a result of an incident in December 2008. Police have since revisited the application and due to the amount of time that has now passed, opposition to the renewal has now been withdrawn.
We are therefore satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard in s.126 of the Act and we grant the application. A notice of renewal is attached to this decision.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 7th day of April 2010
