BETWEEN ALASTAIR LAWN

Chairman: District Court Judge J D Hole
Members: Dr J Horn

DECISION

We have before us an application by Sergeant A J Lawn, dated 17 March 2010, for suspension of a General Manager’s Certificate held by Kim Tracy Brown.

The ground for the application is that Ms Brown’s conduct has been such as to show that she is not a suitable person to hold a General Manager’s Certificate. In particular, she incurred a conviction on 14 December 2009 for having driven with excess breath alcohol on 26 November 2009.

The respondent has agreed to suspension of her manager’s certificate. Accordingly, we make the following order by consent:

General Manager’s Certificate number GM/3175/95, issued to Kim Tracy Brown, is suspended for 30 days from 1 May 2010.

DATED at WELLINGTON this 3rd day of May 2010
