Decision No.529/2010
IN THE MATTER of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989
AND
IN THE MATTER of an application by ANDREW LENARD COOK pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager’s Certificate
BEFORE THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY
Quorum: Dr J Horn
Ms J D Moorhead
DECISION
We have before us an application by Andrew Lenard Cook for a General Manager’s Certificate.
The District Licensing Agency Inspector opposed the application because the applicant had failed to provide evidence of having achieved the Licence Controller Qualification prescribed by s.117A of the Act.
The applicant has now provided our Secretary with a copy of the qualification and opposition to the application is consequently rendered nugatory.
We are satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard in s.121(1) of the Act and we grant the application. The certificate may issue immediately.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 4th day of May 2010
