FINAL DECISION

In decision LLA PH 1309/2009, following a public hearing at Auckland on 21 October 2009, we adjourned an application by the Police for suspension or cancellation of a General Manager’s Certificate held by Mohammad Latif Khan. The application stemmed from convictions incurred by Mr Khan in relation to an indecent assault in 2007.

We adjourned the matter following an undertaking from Mr Khan that he would only use the certificate to manage specified premises during which his conduct would be monitored and, provided there were no further incidents, we would then reconsider the application.

Mr Khan has advised our Secretary that he is no longer employed in the premises referred to in our earlier decision and he has consented to the cancellation of his certificate. Accordingly, we now make the following order:

General Manager’s Certificate number GM/007/360/06, issued to Mohammad Latif Khan, is hereby cancelled.

DATED at WELLINGTON this 17th day of February 2010
