DECISION
We have before us an application by Constable S J Chenery of North Shore Police dated 28 June 2010, for suspension of a manager’s certificate held by Emma Victoria Gray.
The ground for the application is that the conduct of the manager has been such as to show that she is not a suitable person to hold the certificate.
Ms Gray stopped at a roadside checkpoint on Kaipatiki Road, Glenfield on Thursday 6 August 2009. An evidential blood test registered an alcohol level of 121 milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood. Ms Gray was convicted in the North Shore District Court on 5 November 2009, fined $500 and disqualified from driving for six months.
The respondent has agreed to suspension of her manager’s certificate. Accordingly, we make the following order by consent:
General Manager’s Certificate number GM/005/160/2009, issued to Emma Victoria Gray, is suspended for four weeks from Monday 27 September 2010.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 27th day of August 2010
