DECISION

We have before us an application received by the Authority on 18 January 2010, for suspension of a General Manager’s Certificate held by Mathew Blain Ainsworth.

The ground for the application is that Mr Ainsworth’s conduct has been such as to show that he is not a suitable person to hold the certificate. In particular he incurred a conviction on 29 October 2009 for having driven with excess blood alcohol on 24 September 2009.

The respondent has agreed to suspension of his manager’s certificate. Accordingly, we make the following order by consent:

General Manager’s Certificate number 033/GM/1119/2008, issued to Mathew Blain Ainsworth, is suspended for four weeks from Monday 15 March 2010.

DATED at WELLINGTON this 17th day of February 2010
