DECISION
We have before us an application by Acting Sergeant Ian Paulin of Dunedin Police dated 2 December 2011, for suspension of a General Manager’s Certificate held by Suzanne Margaret Cain, following a controlled purchase operation conducted on Saturday 27 August 2011.
The ground for the application is that the manager has failed to conduct the licensed premises in a proper manner in that she was the duty manager when liquor was sold to a person under the age of 18 years in breach of the provisions of s.155 of the Act.
The respondent does not dispute the ground for the application and she has agreed to suspension of her manager’s certificate. Accordingly, we make the following order by consent:
General Manager’s Certificate number GM/069/210/2005, issued to Suzanne Margaret Cain, is suspended for four weeks from Monday 23 January 2012.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 20th day of December 2011
