DECISION
We have before us an application by Sergeant B R Law, of Auckland Police, dated 2 August 2010 for suspension of an on-licence.
The grounds for the application are that the premises have been conducted in breach of the provisions of ss.165 of the Act – unauthorised sale or supply. In particular during a Police inspection of the premises on Friday 30 July 2010 it was noticed that there was no signage naming the duty manager and it was established that the duty manager was not present on the premises at that time.
The respondent does not dispute the grounds for the application and has agreed to suspension of the on-licence. Accordingly, we make the following order by consent:
On-licence number 007/ON/083/2010, issued to Covo SS Limited, is suspended for 24 hours from 10.30am on Friday 4 March 2011 until 10.30am on Saturday 5 March 2011.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 18th day of January 2011
