DECISION
In decision [2011] NZLLA 257 dated 1 April 2011, we made an order suspending an on-licence held by Palace Hotel Limited in respect of premises situated at 119 Hobson Street, Auckland, known as "Albion Hotel". The suspension was to have commenced on Wednesday 4 May for a term of two days.
The respondent has approached our Secretary with a request to reschedule the suspension because of prior bookings for meals and accommodation for a large group of veterinary surgeons. The facilties have been reserved for some time for activities due to take place during the suspension period prescribed in the order.
The District Licensing Agency Inspector does not oppose the request to amend the dates of the suspension order. Accordingly, we agree to rehear the matter pursuant to s.110(3) of the Act and we make the following amended order:
On-licence number 007/ON/062/2010, issued to Palace Hotel Limited, is suspended for 48 hours from 8.00 am on Wednesday 11 May 2011 until 8.00 am on Friday 13 May 2011.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 18th day of April 2011
