AND
IN THE MATTER of an application by VENG SANG pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager’s Certificate
BEFORE THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY
Quorum: Dr J Horn
FINAL DECISION
In decision number [2010] NZLLA PH 562 we adjourned an application by Veng Sang, for a General Manager’s Certificate, for a six month period to enable the applicant to rectify immigration issues.
The Police have subsequently advised that Mr Sang was granted New Zealand Residency in June 2010. Both the Police and District Licensing Agency Inspector no longer have opposition to the application being granted.
We are now satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard in s.121(1) of the Act and we grant the application. The certificate may issue immediately.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 18th day of January 2011
