DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] Before the Authority is an application by Devansh Sharma pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager's Certificate.
[2] The application was filed with the District Licensing Agency on 6 April 2010. It attracted opposition from both the Police and the District Licensing Agency Inspector and accordingly the matter was set down for a public hearing.
[3] There was no appearance by Mr Sharma. We have been advised by Constable Kopyl that when she checked with the Immigration Service on the morning of the hearing it was confirmed that Mr Sharma had left for India on 22 December 2010 and has not returned.
[4] In all the circumstances the application is refused.
