DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] This is the resumption of a hearing of an application by Jamie Andrew Lawton pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager's Certificate.
[2] A hearing was held in Auckland on 26 June 2009 and decision NZLLA PH 692/2009 issued adjourning the application for a period of 12 months. Mr Lawton asked for the matter to be transferred from Auckland to Wellington where he now lives and the resumed hearing was therefore to take place in Wellington.
[3] There was however, no appearance by Mr Lawton. In all the circumstances we are unable to be satisfied as to the matters set out in s.121 of the Act. We also draw the reasonable conclusion that he is no longer interested in pursuing the application.
[4] The application is refused.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 21ST day of June 2011
