DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] The on-licence relating to premises at 103 Victoria Street West, Auckland known as “Barzuka” became due for renewal on 7 December 2008. Accordingly, an application for its renewal was filed. Because of objections, the District Licensing Agency referred the application to the Authority for determination.
[2] When the application was called at the hearing on 21 June 2011 there was no appearance on behalf of the applicant. Mrs Davenport, for the Auckland District Licensing Agency Inspector, advised that the applicant was no longer trading.
[3] In these circumstances the application for the renewal of the on-licence is refused.
