DECISION
We have before us an application by Senior Sergeant S D Sargent of Porirua Police dated 1 July 2011, for suspension of an off-licence following controlled purchase operations on Friday 8 April 2011 and Saturday 25 June 2011.
The ground for the application is that the premises have twice been conducted in breach of the provisions of s.155 of the Act – sale of liquor to a person under 18 years of age.
The respondent does not dispute the ground for the application and has agreed to suspension of the off-licence. Accordingly, we make the following order by consent:
Off-licence number 046/OFF/0001/08, issued to Minaxi Bhagwandas, is suspended for three days from 9.00 am on Friday 12 August 2011 until 9.00 am on Monday 15 August 2011.
