BETWEEN SHANE ROBERT MCNALLY

BEFORE THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY

DECISION
We have before us an application by Sergeant S R McNally dated 21 June 2011, for suspension of a General Manager’s Certificate held by Maria Titaha Paul, following a controlled purchase operation on Saturday 14 May 2011.
The ground for the application is that the manager has failed to conduct the licensed premises in a proper manner in that she was the duty manager when liquor was sold to a person under the age of 18 years in breach of the provisions of s.155 of the Act.
The respondent does not dispute the ground for the application and she has agreed to suspension of her manager’s certificate. Accordingly, we make the following order by consent:
General Manager’s Certificate number 021/GM/7241/2005, issued to Maria Titaha Paul, is suspended for four weeks from Monday 15 August 2011.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 11th day of July 2011
