DECISION

We have before us an application by Shaun Ropata Hapi Martin for renewal of a General Manager’s Certificate.

The Police and District Licensing Agency Inspector opposed renewal because Mr Martin was not currently employed in the hospitality industry. The Agency referred the application to the Authority for determination.

Our Secretary has received confirmation that Mr Martin now has a permanent managerial position in licensed premises in Lower Hutt and opposition has been withdrawn.

We are satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard in s.126 of the Act and we grant the application. A notice of renewal is attached to this decision.
