BEFORE THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY
Chairman: District Court Judge J D Hole

DECISION
In decision [2012] NZLLA PH 1218 dated 1 November 2012, we made an order to suspend an on-licence in respect of premises situated at 340 Meeanee Road, Meeanee, Napier, known as "Meeanee Hotel" for 28 days from 10 December 2012.
The respondent has approached our Secretary with a request that the term of suspension be postponed for about four weeks owing to the premises having been pre-booked for wedding receptions in December 2012.
The bookings were accepted approximately 12 months ago and the respondent submits that the suspension would significantly inconvenience the patrons concerned.
The District Licensing Agency Inspector has advised our Secretary that he has no opposition to postponement of the suspension. In the circumstances, we agree to rehear the matter on the papers pursuant to s.110(3) and we grant the request.
Accordingly we make the following amended order:
On-licence number 030/ON/6/11, issued to Micore Investments Limited, is suspended for 28 days commencing at 7.00 am on Wednesday 2 January 2013.
In all other respects the decision remains unaltered.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 8TH day of November 2012
