IN THE MATTER of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989
AND
IN THE MATTER of an application by JASON GILLESPIE ROSEN pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager’s Certificate
BEFORE THE LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY
Members: Mr D E Major
Mr R S Miller
FINAL DECISION
In decision [2012] NZLLA PH 644, following a public hearing at Auckland on 9 May 2012, we adjourned an application by Jason Gillespie Rosen for a General Manager’s Certificate for six months.
The Police had opposed the application on the basis of Mr Rosen’s failure to declare a conviction for a liquor related traffic offence.
The Police have advised our Secretary that there have been no further matters of concern brought to their attention during the period of adjournment, and opposition to the application is now withdrawn.
We are satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard in s.121(1) of the Act and we grant the application. The certificate may issue immediately.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 12th day of November 2012
