DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] We have before us applications by Kotaro Taguchi and Muhammad Saleem Baig pursuant to s.118 of the Act for General Managers’ Certificates.
[2] Each of the applications was opposed by District Licensing Agency Inspector necessitating determination by the Authority.
[3] When the matters were called there was no appearance by or on behalf of either applicant. We take the inference, therefore, that they have lost interest in pursuing their applications.
[4] We are unable to be satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard in s.121(1) of the Act and, as a matter of law, the applications must be refused.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 14TH day of December 2012
