DECISION
We have before us an application by Constable M R L Arnold of Christchurch Police dated 18 May 2012, for suspension of a General Manager’s Certificate held by Luke Steven Piper.
The ground for the application is that the conduct of the manager has been such as to show that he is not a suitable person to hold the certificate.
On Thursday 5 April 2012, while in Christchurch, Mr Piper was arrested for breaching a liquor ban area. He was released with a pre-charge warning and was not required to appear in court.
The respondent does not dispute the ground for the application and he has agreed to suspension of his manager’s certificate. Accordingly, we make the following order by consent:
General Manager’s Certificate number 062/GM/010/08, issued to Luke Steven Piper, is suspended for 14 days from Sunday 12 August 2012.
DATED at WELLINGTON this 20th day of June 2012
