DECISION OF THE AUTHORITY
[1] This is an application by Paul David Stallard pursuant to s.118 of the Act for a General Manager's Certificate. The application was filed with the Auckland District Licensing Agency on 6 December 2011. It was not however supported with a copy of the required Licence Controller Qualification.
[2] There was opposition to the application from the District Licensing Agency Inspector as Mr Stallard had failed to attend interviews on three occasions. It now transpires that Mr Stallard did not receive the letters regarding the interviews. We are informed that he is however still employed at the “Bond Street Bar” in Kingsland, Auckland.
[3] In the circumstances the application is adjourned for one month for an interview to take place with the inspector. If there are no further difficulties and a copy of the required Licence Controller Qualification is provided, the application could be granted on the papers. Otherwise a further hearing may be required or the application could be declined.
