DECISION

We have before us an application by Ishwar Partap Singh for renewal of a General Manager’s Certificate.

The Police opposed renewal because Mr Singh’s work visa was due to expire on 24 August 2012. The District Licensing Agency Inspector supported the Police opposition and recommended that the application be referred to the Authority.

The Police have advised our Secretary that Mr Singh has now extended his visa to May 2014 and opposition to renewal is withdrawn.

We are satisfied as to the matters to which we must have regard in s.126 of the Act and we grant the application. A notice of renewal is attached to this decision.
