Purpose of regional marine oil spill contingency plan
288 Purpose of regional marine oil spill contingency plan
The purpose of a
regional marine oil spill contingency plan is to promote a planned and
regionally co-ordinated response to any marine oil spill within a region that
is beyond the resources of the persons who have caused the marine oil spill or
that has not been appropriately responded to by such persons.
