MARITIME TRANSPORT ACT 1994 - SECT 343
Ownership of CLC Ship
Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act,
for the purposes of this Part, in respect of any discharge or escape of oil
from a CLC ship, the owner of that ship shall be deemed to be the CLC owner of
that ship at the time of an event giving rise to liability under this Part or
(where such event consists of a series of occurrences) at the time of the
first such occurrence, as the case may be.
