1 The Minister must prepare and determine a Women’s Health Strategy.
2 The purpose of the Women’s Health Strategy is to provide a framework to guide health entities in improving health outcomes for women.
3 The Women’s Health Strategy must—a) contain an assessment of the current state of health outcomes for women and the performance of the health sector in relation to women; andb) contain an assessment of the medium and long-term trends that will affect the health of women and health sector performance; andc) set out priorities for services and health sector improvements relating to the health of women, including workforce development.
4 Subsection (3) does not limit what may be included in the Women’s Health Strategy.
