1 When preparing a health strategy, the Minister must—a) have regard to any advice from the Hauora Māori Advisory Committee; andb) when making a new health strategy, have regard to current strategies; andc) consult health entities, individuals, and organisations that the Minister considers are reasonably likely to be affected by the health strategy.
2 The Minister must present the health strategy to the House of Representatives as soon as practicable after it has been made.
3 The health strategy must be made publicly available as soon as practicable after it is made.
