Meaning of temporary repayment suspension

106 Meaning of temporary repayment suspension

In this subpart, temporary repayment suspension means a period during which a borrower’s overseas-based repayment obligation is reduced to zero.
History: Section 106: replaced (with effect on 1 April 2012), on 12 April 2012, by section 30 of the Student Loan Scheme Amendment Act 2012 (2012 No 32).   Section 106 heading: amended, on 1 April 2020, by section 60(1) of the Taxation (KiwiSaver, Student Loans, and Remedial Matters) Act 2020 (2020 No 5).     Section 106: amended, on 1 April 2020, by section 60(2) of the Taxation (KiwiSaver, Student Loans, and Remedial Matters) Act 2020 (2020 No 5).
