1 This section applies if a change to a district or regional plan applying in a project area will, if approved, become operative in the project’s transitional period.
2 The relevant local authority must notify Kāinga Ora of that fact, in writing, at least 20 working days before whichever of the following is relevant to the plan change:a) the date on which the relevant local authority considers whether to approve or adopt the plan change under clause 17 or 18 of Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act 1991 :b) the date on which the relevant local authority submits the information required by clause 83(1) of Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act 1991 to the Minister described in that clause.
