If property is vested in the trust under this Act, the trust has, and may
exercise, the same rights, powers and remedies, and is subject to the same
liabilities and obligations, in relation to that property, as the person in
whom the property was vested immediately before the vesting of the property in
the trust would have had, could have exercised or would have been subject to,
as the case may be, in relation to that property, if the property had not been
divested from him or her and vested in the trust.
