UTILITIES (TECHNICAL REGULATION) ACT 2014 - SECT 76

Definitions—pt 9

In this part:

"connected"—a thing is connected with an offence if—

        (a)     the offence has been committed in relation to it; or

        (b)     it will provide evidence of the commission of the offence; or

        (c)     it was used, is being used, or is intended to be used, to commit the offence.

"occupier", of premises, includes—

        (a)     a person believed on reasonable grounds to be an occupier of the premises; and

        (b)     a person apparently in charge of the premises.

"offence "includes an offence that there are reasonable grounds for believing has been, is being, or will be committed.

"warrant" means a warrant issued under division 9.4 (Powers of technical inspectors).
