Seat of Government (Administration) (Amendment) Ordinance 1985

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

An Ordinance to amend the Seat of Government (Administration) Ordinance 1930

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Seat of Government (Administration) (Amendment) Ordinance 1985.1

Principal Ordinance

2. In this Ordinance, “Principal Ordinance” means the Seat of Government (Administration) Ordinance 1930.2

Administration of Ordinances

3. Section 10 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after sub-section (5) the following sub-section:

“(5A) The World Cup Athletics (Security Arrangements) Ordinance 1985 shall be administered by the Special Minister of State.”.

Second Schedule

4. The Second Schedule to the Principal Ordinance is amended—

(a) by inserting in Part 2—

“Blood Donation (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) Ordinance 1985”

before—

Chiropractors Registration Ordinance 1983”;

(b) by omitting from Part 2—

Health Commission Ordinance 1975”; and

(c) by inserting in Part 2—

Health Services Ordinance 1975”

after—

Health Professions Boards (Procedures) Ordinance 1981”.
