PUBLIC SERVICE REFORM ACT 1984 No. 63, 1984 - SECT 51

51. Section 51AA of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by omitting sub-section (1) and substituting the following
        sub-section:

''(1) Where, under sub-section 29 (1) or (2), an office (in this section
referred to as the 'substituted office') is declared to be in substitution for
another office (in this section referred to as the 'former office'), the
following provisions of this section have effect in relation to the filling of
the vacancy in the substituted office.'';

   (b)  by omitting from paragraph (4) (a) ''29 (1A)'' and substituting ''29
        (1)''; and

   (c)  by omitting from paragraph (4) (b) ''29 (1B)'' and substituting ''29
        (2)''.
