PUBLIC SERVICE REFORM ACT 1984 No. 63, 1984 - SECT 54

Transfers and promotions to specified offices to be made in accordance with order of passing examinations 

54. Section 53 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after sub-section
(1) the following sub-section:

''(1A) For the purposes of sub-section (1)-

   (a)  an officer who holds a part-time office shall be taken not to be
        eligible for transfer or promotion to a full-time office; and

   (b)  an officer who holds a full-time office shall be taken not to be
        eligible for transfer or promotion to a part-time office.''.
